Izzienne has 15+ years of experience within the sterile and aseptic pharmaceutical industry of which 6 years were specific to vaccine manufacturing. Her career in Pharmaceutics started in the Regulatory Department at Fresenius Kabi South Africa. 

Her experience ranges from Quality, Validation to Manufacturing management roles within various companies. Prior to joining Progress, she was an Associate Quality Manager at Aspen Global Incorporate (AGI), situated in Mauritius. This role focused on the quality management of various CMOs with the support of her team and affiliate management in regards to customer relations and market regulations. 

Prior to her employment at AGI, she was employed for 6 years at the Biovac Institute in various roles. Biovac, based in South Africa, manufactures and develops Vaccines for Southern African markets. Her roles included Validation Scientist, Qualification Section Head, Operational Quality Section Head and Production Formulation and Fill Manager. During her employment at Biovac, she was highly involved in the successful tech transfer project of a 13 valent conjugate vaccine.
