Klaas Geveke joined Progress as a project manager in June 2012.

Klaas (1966) studied chemical process technology at the Technical University (HTS) in The Hague and at TU Delft. His first employer was Gist Brocades (1996), where he worked on developing and upscaling reprocessing processes. He also undertook research at laboratory and pilot level and supported the upscaling and commissioning of these processes at CMOs as a process specialist. At Fort Dodge (1998), Klaas was involved in process development and validation work on the standard flu vaccine. At Pharmachemie (Teva, 2000) Klaas worked as QA officer and validation coordinator responsible for the regular validation of the production systems and processes. As validation project manager he was also responsible for the validation process during the renovation of the sterile department completed in 2005. In 2006, Klaas moved to the NVI. Here he was responsible for the QA input in various investment projects, including the basic design of a new sterilisation facility and the fill & finish department. When the NVI was split up in 2011, Klaas moved to RIVM as QP.

Personal

Klaas is married and has three children. In his free time he likes to spend time with the family. Squash, camping, cycling, walking and golf are his favourite activities. He also enjoys photography, reading (historical fiction) and loves music and cooking.
