Marcel has been employed as HR Manager at Progress since 15 January 2017.
Marcel started his career as a Personnel Consultant at the Labour Office in Haarlem and consecutively as a Team Lead in the sector team Technology and Industry. Meanwhile, he completed his higher vocational studies in Labour Market en Personnel Policy. In 1999 he moved to Teva Pharmaceuticals in Haarlem as an HR Advisor, where he became responsible for the Human Resources policy within the Business Unit Operations (Sterile Production, Engineering & Maintenance, Research & Development, Supply Chain and ICT). In the following years he evolved as an HR Business Partner where he, as a sparring partner for management, was closely involved in business related work and projects. Next to his work, Marcel finished the degree in Business Administration for HR Managers in 2007 and has developed himself into an all-round HR Manager.
At Progress Marcel sees his opportunity to realise his vision on Human Resources.
